Christmas spiced baked apple


Easiest way to satisfy your sweet tooth with in the winter time:


You need:
1 apple
1 tbs coconut oil
Coconut palm sugar

You do:
Put the oven on medium temperature. Chop up the apple and put it in a bowl. Spice it with lots of cinnamon, cardamom and a touch of ginger. Sprinkle some coconut palm sugar. Place the spiced covered apple slices nicely in a oven safe form and spread out the coconut oil on top of it. You can put half of the coconut oil in the bottom so you don’t burn the apple as well. Finish with some extra spice on top. Bake until the apple is a little bit soft.

You eat:
As soon as it not that hot that it will burn your tongue. Maybe with some coconut whipped cream or raw cashew ice cream?

This is how I love to bake my apple. The coconut palm sugar gives it a little bit of a caramely flavor and the oil just makes it all a little bit better. But – you can also make this as the most healthy dessert ever! Just chop up the apple, add spice and put in the oven and you’ll have a super delicious dessert for less than 100 calories. You don’t have to have the added sugar or oil. Sometimes simplicity is even better!
